Day 16 -- Zion National Park

We arrived at Zion National Park, Utah, early in the evening. We were fortunate that there was a campsite still available with hookups. (since we didn't make reservations!) I've mentioned hot before. But you have no idea. We were at Zion for two days and the second day it was 108 degrees F. Now that's hot! But it was a dry heat...     Anyway, this creek ran through the campground and the kids (and mom and dad!) really enjoyed a chance to get cool.

into Zion.
This is actually a
picture of a Window.
The road into the park has
a tunnel that is 2 miles
long and has these
Windows spaced along it.

Some have said that the
road, and the drive along
that road, were a greater
pleasure to see than was
the rest of the park.
